Instrumentation Technician – Field

Dynatherm Instrumentation is a company specializing in instrumentation and control. We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team. The instrumentation technician will work with other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment at our client’s sites.

 

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • College degree (DEC) in instrumentation and control or an equivalent qualification
  • Have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in instrumentation, calibration service, or a similar role
  • Experience in tolerance definition and validation
  • Experience with calibration and/or communication equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Met/Team and Met/Cal software (asset)
  • Have a valid driver’s license in Quebec
  • Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written
  • Be a Canadian citizen or authorized to work in Canada

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply calibration methods and validate measurement instruments, including temperature, flow meters, pressure, level systems, humidity, pH, conductivity, voltage, current, etc.
  • Perform calibration of turbine engine test benches
  • Calibrate thermal treatment ovens according to the AMS-2750 standard.
  • Follow procedures of our ISO-17025 quality system.
  • Provide technical support to production by responding to service calls at client sites.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the calibration program.
  • Develop your expertise to offer technical advice and consultations to clients.

 

Work Schedule and Location

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), day shift from Monday to Friday
  • On-site at Pratt and Whitney Longueuil and various client locations within the Greater Montreal

 

Salary and Benefits

  • 29.00$ to 45.00$ per hour, based on experience
  • Group insurance after 3 months of service

  • Safety clothing and equipment
